No Peek Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. cubed stew meat
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 C tomato juice
  • 6 carrots, chunked
  • 1 onion,chopped
  • frozen peas
  • 2 tsp. tapioca
  • 1 tsp. Pioneer® Sugar
  • 2 stalks celery diced
  • 4-6 med. potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • onion soup mix

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250° F.
  2. In a covered casserole dish add stew meat, salt, tomato juice, carrots, onion, peas, tapioca, Pioneer® Sugar, celery and potato. Sprinkle onion soup mix over the entire stew (just enough to cover). Cover tightly and bake for 4 ½ hours.
