Ingredients

  • 1 ½ C butter, softened (no substitutions)
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 C Pioneer® Sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 C flour

Glaze:

  • ½ C butter
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 C Pioneer® Confectioners Powdered Sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp. vanilla
  • 2-3 T milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Spray 2 loaf pans with cooking spray; set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl beat together the butter, cream cheese and Pioneer® Sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time. Then slowly add salt, vanilla and flour; mix thoroughly. Pour half of the batter into one of the prepared loaf pans and the remaining into the other prepared pan. Bake for 60 to 75 minutes. Remove from oven and let sit on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes.

Glaze:

  1. In a saucepan melt the butter and cream cheese together on low heat. Stir in Pioneer® Confectioners Powdered Sugar and vanilla. Add in milk using what you need until you reach the desired consistency. Remove the bread from the pan and set on a serving plate. While the bread is still warm pour the glaze over the top while both are still warm. Let sit until cool before slicing. Enjoy!
