Caramel Almond Ice Cream Topping

Ingredients

  • ¼ C butter or margarine
  • ⅓ C almond slivers
  • ⅓ C light corn syrup
  • ⅓ C Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 T water

Directions

  1. In a medium skillet melt butter; add almonds. Cook and stir over medium-low heat about 5 minutes or until browned.
  2. Add the corn syrup, Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar and water to the skillet. Over medium-low heat, stir until bubbly and the sugar is dissolved (about 4-5 minutes).
  3. Serve immediately over ice cream.
