Caramel Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • ¾ C melted butter
  • 1 can evaporated milk, divided
  • 1 C walnuts, chopped
  • 1 bag (11 oz.) Kraft caramel bits
  • 1 bag (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan; set aside.
  2. Combine the cake mix, butter, 2/3 cup milk and walnuts. Mix together and divide mixture in half. Press half of the mixture into the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Melt the caramel bits with 2/3 cup of milk over low heat. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the baked cake mixture, then pour the melted caramel mixture over that. Flatten the remaining cake mixture and place on top of the caramel.
  4. Bake an additional 15 – 18 minutes. Delish!
