Sweet-Sour Spareribs

Ingredients

  • ⅓ C soy sauce
  • ⅔ C flour
  • 3 lbs. spareribs

Sauce:

  • 1 C Pioneer® Sugar
  • 1 T salt
  • ¾ C vinegar
  • 1 T soy sauce
  • 1 C water

Directions

  1. Blend soy sauce and flour to a paste consistency. Cut ribs into 2-inch serving pieces. Coat ribs with paste mixture. Let stand 1 hour. Brown in large skillet; then add the sauce.

Sauce:

  1. Combine Pioneer® Sugar, salt, vinegar, soy sauce and water together in a bowl; stir well. Add to browned ribs in skillet. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for 1 ½ to 2 hours or until ribs are tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking to pan. Serve with rice.
