Strawberries Romanoff

Ingredients

  • 1 C plain non-fat yogurt
  • ¼ C Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar
  • ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 T strawberry liqueur (optional)
  • 2 pints (24 oz.) fresh strawberries, washed, hulled & cut into bite-size pieces

Garnish:

  • 2 T pecan pieces, lightly toasted

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl whisk yogurt, Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and strawberry liqueur until fully mixed. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to make the sauce slightly firm.
  2. Divide the strawberries evenly into four dessert dishes. Spoon ¼ cup sauce over each serving. Top with nuts and serve immediately.
