Ingredients

  • 2 small boxes Strawberry Jell-O®
  • 1 C boiling water for each gelatin layer
  • ½ C cold water for each gelatin layer
  • 2 small boxes Blueberry Jell-O®
  • 2 pkg. unflavored gelatin
  • ½ C tepid water
  • 2 C milk
  • 1 C Pioneer® Sugar
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

  1. In medium bowl add 1 box strawberry Jell-O® and 1 cup boiling water until all the gelatin is dissolved. Add ½ cup cold water. Pour into a glass 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Refrigerate until firm.
  2. White Layer; dissolve unflavored gelatin in ½ cup tepid water. In saucepan bring milk to a boil then remove from heat. Add Pioneer® Sugar, stir and add the gelatin mixture, stir. Fold in sour cream and vanilla. Mix well. Set aside. {Can be refrigerated until ready to use.}
  3. Take strawberry Jell-O® out of refrigerator and spread a thin layer of the white mixture on top. This has to be done carefully because the white layer is thin and will plop out under pressure of the next Jell-O® layer. Set back in refrigerator to keep cool.
  4. In medium bowl add 1 box blueberry Jell-O® and 1 cup boiling water, stir until all the gelatin is dissolved. Add ½ cup cold water. When cooled to room temperature spread on top of white layer. Refrigerate until firm.
  5. Pour some more white gelatin on top of blue layer when it’s firm. Repeat with red layer, white layer, blue layer until all the gelatin is used up. Top with whipping cream to serve if desired.
