Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. chicken wings &/or drumsticks
  • 1 C soy sauce
  • ¾ C water
  • ½ C butter
  • ¾ C Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

Directions

  1. Cut each chicken wing into 2 pieces, discard tips. Place chicken in shallow baking dish (9 x 13-inch dish works best).
  2. In saucepan combine soy sauce, water, butter, Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar and dry mustard; heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour marinade over wings. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat oven to 300° F. Bake 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. Can also be cooking in slow cooker on low setting for 3-4 hours.
 

Cook's Note

Add a little more brown sugar if you want the sauce a little sweeter.
