Slice of devil's food cake

Homemade Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 ⅓ C Homemade Basic Cake Mix
  • 1 C milk
  • ⅓ C cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350° F. Prepare a 9 x 13-inch baking pan or two 9-inch pans by either greasing with butter and lightly flour the pan, or spray with cooking spray; set aside.
  2. In a small bowl lightly beat eggs; set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl add the Homemade Basic Cake Mix, milk, cocoa and vanilla. Begin mixing with electric mixer; add eggs. Continue to beat for approximately one to two minutes until mixed well.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-35 minutes or until done.
