Nutmeg Sauce-Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 C Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 T all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 C boiling water
  • 1 T butter or margarine

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar, flour and nutmeg. Gradually add water and cook over medium heat. Stir constantly until thickened. Blend in butter.
  2. Serve warm over waffles, pancakes or French toast.
