Apple Dump Cake

Cake Ingredients

  • 2 C flour
  • 2 C Pioneer® Sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 C or 1 can sliced apples
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ C oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ½ C nuts; optional

Frosting:

  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 envelope Dream Whip
  • 1 ½ C of cold milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a 9×13-inch cake pan; set aside.

Cake:

  1. In large mixing bowl dump in flour, Pioneer® Sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; stir.
  2. Dump in apples, eggs, oil and vanilla. Mix together well.  Add nuts if desired; fold into batter by hand.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Remove and set on rack to cool.

Frosting:

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the vanilla pudding, dream whip and milk together for five minutes. Spread on completely cooled cake.
