Bar-B-Qued Pork

Ingredients

  • 4-6 chops or pork steaks
  • 1 C chili sauce
  • ½ C water
  • ¼ C vinegar
  • 2 T Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 T onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325° F.
  2. In medium skillet, lightly brown pork on both sides in pan sprayed with cooking oil.
  3. In bowl mix chili sauce, water, vinegar, Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar, onion, mustard and Worcestershire sauce; set aside.
  4. Spray an 8 x 8-inch square pan (bigger if necessary) lightly with cooking oil. Arrange browned pork pieces on the bottom. Pour prepared sauce over the top. Lightly cover with tin foil and bake for 30 minutes. Turn pork over and spoon sauce over the pork pieces. Bake for 1 hour covered firmly. Turn again and spoon sauce over pork, bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes or until pork is done.
